Ballroom Newsletter – Jan 8th 2013
Dear Dancer,
Only a few small changes this week. Our Saturday Classes (both the morning Technique class and the evening Foxtrot Workshop) will be back in the Dudes and Daisies building. The building (along with the adjacent parking areas) has been plowed out and is accessible once again. You might want to bring an extra layer of clothing as that building doesn’t always retain heat as well as the main lodge.
Our deepest apologies to those of you who were waiting down at the Dudes and Daisies for the class to start last Saturday. We clearly did not do as good a job as we thought about the change of venue. So glad you all made it in the end. This coming Saturday we will be back in the Dudes and Daisies building.
The Open Dancing/Practice Time after the Foxtrot Workshop (7:00 pm – 8:00 pm) is open to anyone who wants to practice and if there are enough of you who stay or come expressly to practice (or just dance), we would be happy to extend the practice session another hour to make it worth your while.
The Fort Jones Friday Night Group Private will always welcome additional people if anyone wants to show up and learn. We will be getting word out to the Fort Jones Community regarding future workshops shortly.
If there is any Holiday cheer still clinging to your waistlines or thighs, come dance it off.
See you on dance floor.
