Ballroom Newsletter – August 27th 2013
Dear Dancer,
Looks like Swing is in fashion these days. This Saturday we have been requested by the Mt. Shasta Recreation and Parks Department to host a Swing Dance Party (Swingin’ Autumn Nights) in conjunction with the Labor Day Cool Summer Nights weekend. It should make for a hot Saturday Night if you like dancing (and a hot Saturday Night if you would like to learn how to dance). Come join us for a night of Swing (and more, as we will be occasionally playing other dance music as well for a little variety). Details can be found below in the Saturday Night section.
This would be a good function to attend in order to prepare for the “Swing Into Autumn” Dance and Concert (“Dance” for those of you who want to dance and “Concert” for those of you who want to just sit and listen…both types are more than welcome because, you know what they say: “There are two kinds of people in the world; those who believe that there are two kinds of people in the world and those who don’t”.)
So come to have fun, come to learn, or come to brush up for the “Swing Into Autumn” Dance and Concert (or mix and match your reasons). Or come for any reason of your own.
See you on the dance floor.
