Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County – January 21st 2014
Dear Dancer,
Before we launch into this week’s schedule, we would like to thank Carla Mazzini for her dance party which she held at the Mt. Shasta Brewery (in Weed) last Friday night. And we would like to thank everyone who attended for making it such a lively affair. We had couples and singles of both genders with ages ranging from the 20s to the discretely-not-mentioned. A good time was had by all. And, finally, our thanks to the brewery for allowing this to happen on their premises and for the fine quality food and drink.
Carla is hoping to do this once a month, so there will be another one coming up in February. We will let you know as soon as we find out when the next one will happen. You are all encouraged to come.
Other than that, an ordinary week (if learning to master the intricacies of gravity and balance to a highly tuned state can be called “ordinary”; if developing the ability to engage in the cosmic dance and do the universe proud with your grace and skill can be called “ordinary”; if elevating your poise, confidence and sense of elan to heights barely dreamed of by mere mortals who don’t take dance classes can be called “ordinary”, then this will be an “ordinary” week). No classes missing, no activities added. Just the usual chances to train yourself to become an exemplary human being. Come join us and transform yourself.
See you on the dance floor.
