Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County – June 17th, 2014
Dear Dancer:
The big news of the week is that there will be no Saturday morning Technique class this week. Your beloved instructors will themselves be taking workshops to keep improving our own skills and adding even more figures to the hundreds already in our repertoire. Next month should be more fun for this.
Our regular classes will be held as usual.
Continuing to announce:
Still plenty of time to sign up for our Summer Technique Workshop at the McCloud Dance Hall. The dates will be June 23th, 24th and 25th. This will be a morning only workshop (10:00 am – 12:00 n) so those of you who are not local can make a vacation get-away AND have a dance workshop as well. The cost is $30 a day or $75 for the whole three days. The focus will be on how to do the steps so that you can learn more quickly, have more fun all whilst looking terrific. Any questions or to sign up, contact us at (415) 215-2652 or davisnixon@msn.com.
Youth Dance Camp. It will be held mornings from July 14th – July 18th, at 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. It is sponsored by the Mt. Shasta Parks and Recreation District and the entire workshop will only cost $50 for the entire week. If you know of any young people (Elementary School through High School -including those who have just graduated) who might be interested, let them know. Or if you wanted to sponsor a youth yourself, that would be wonderful, too.
