Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County – July 1st 2014

Dear Dancer:

So, July already. And this July, there are five (count them), five days of classes for our Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday classes, so this will be a good month to learn even more! Come take advantage of the extra day.

Only one major change this week (and next): the Saturday Morning Technique Class and Evening Lesson with Practice Party will be held at the McCloud Dance Hall. That means much more floor space, an absolutely lovely floor and a cooler clime, since the McCloud Dance Hall has air conditioning.

Those of you who have never been on this floor, this Saturday (and next) would be a great chance to enjoy dancing on the best dance floor in Siskiyou County. And those of you who have never tried a Technique class, come learn how to more than double the fun of dancing with a partner. And did I mention that the Dance Hall has air conditioning? Perhaps I didn’t spell it right…THE DANCE HALL HAS AIR CONDITIONING! There, that should do it.

And still, just to remind you, here is our Youth Dance Camp info again:

Youth Dance Camp. It will be held mornings from July 14th – July 18th, at 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. It is sponsored by the Mt. Shasta Parks and Recreation District and the entire workshop will only cost $50 for the entire week. If you know of any young people (Elementary School through High School -including those who have just graduated) who might be interested, let them know. Or if you wanted to sponsor a youth yourself, that would be wonderful, too
