Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County – July 15th 2014
Dear Dancer,
Looking for a way to dodge the heat? Come to the air-conditioned Mt. Shasta Wellness Center tonight! It is still not too late to join the Cha-cha class (or the Salsa classes later this week).
Nor is it too late to bring a youth to the Youth Summer Dance Camp. We are doing new dances each day, so no one will be at a disadvantage for joining late.
The only other change is that, because of the Youth Summer Dance Camp, the Parkinson’s class on Wednesday will start a little late (see below), to give us time to drive over. But not to worry, it is still happening.
As of right now, no practice party this weekend, so come to the classes and get your ya-yas out whilst learning more steps that will allow you to, well, get even more ya-yas out. The ya-ya free lifestyle does have its recommendations and we can recommend it.
For those of you who have been missing Carla’s Dance Party on the 3rd weekend of each month, no worries: it is scheduled to resume in September once the international Carla’s Dance Party crowd get back from their extended Summer tours of Europe, Asia, South America , Mediterranean and the Carribbian. We look forward to giving them (and everyone else who wishes to take advantage of this fabulous opportunity to hone your dance skills) a big welcome.
Be seeing you.
