Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County and Northern Califonia – December 16th 2014

Dear Dancer,

Some important announcements for this week before Christmas:

First, if you want to give the gift of dance this year by purchasing one of our holiday gift certificates, this would be the time to do it, because we will be out of town next week. You can find the particulars (the different packages and their cost) on our website, mtshastadance.com, or call us at the number below.

Keep in mind that as there will be no classes held next week until Saturday (the 27th), this week will be the last week to get a certificate for that special, two left-footed someone and bring the joy of dance (and right-footedness) into their lives.

Second, this Friday, December 19th, we will be holding an informal Christmas get-together at the McCloud Mercantile (241 Main St. McCloud) in their Grand Room, upstairs. It will start with a class at 7:00 (Waltz) with open dancing (code for “whatever you want” -we will be playing Christmas dance music as well and doing a couple of group dances such as the Gay Gordons) from 8:00 until the roof re-settles on the building. Cost $10 /person. We will be supplying treats for snacks, but if anyone else wants to bring something tasty to add to the festiveness of the evening, you are welcome to do so. Bringing treats is encouraged but by no means required.

Looking forward to having you join us for this relaxed but festive gathering. And in classes throughout the week.

See you there.
