Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – December 30th 2014

Dear Dancer,

A short week, as you can see. Tonight is it for the year (until Saturday). So we are welcoming all levels tonight and hope to see you one more time this year. Come and dance out the old year without having to forego that big New Year’s Eve bash that you will be attending.

Next year (week) we will start the Beginning Class at the beginning, with American Style Foxtrot, the easiest of all the dances to learn, and work our way through the dances from the easiest to the most complex.

Wednesday will be Salsa, in which we will review what we taught in the Beginning Class in December and then add new and fun steps. All levels are welcome, even if you missed December’s Beginning Class.

Thursday’s Intermediate/Advanced class will be Waltz, again carrying on from the Wednesday class in December. Some experience is required to attend this class. Call us at the number below or e-mail us if you have any questions or concerns about your eligibility.

We will keep this structure up in 2015, moving each dance from Tuesday one month to Wednesday the next month to Thursday the month after that adding steps and technique tips, so that you will get a chance to learn many more steps in each dance and become much more proficient at each dance (not to mention remembering more of the steps from sheer exposure).

We are looking forward to an exciting year of dancing and dance growth. Please come join us.

A Happy New Years to one and all, all year long.

See you there.
