Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – March 28th 2017
Dear All,
The final week of March classes, alas, arrives, when we say good-bye to this month’s dances. But wait: we don’t need to say good-bye to the Bolero, because it moves to Wednesday and continues to progress with even more fun steps! And, but wait again: we don’t have to say good-bye to the Samba, either, because it moves to Thursday and also continues to progress with even more fun more fun steps (one or two never hitherto taught in Siskiyou County! Come see what they are!)!
So… I guess the only dance to which we will have to say good-bye is the Viennese Waltz. But wait: The Saturday Technique class will ride to the rescue like some masked Zorro or Lone Ranger and pick up the Viennese Waltz from where it left off on Thursday and save it from the temporary oblivion it was fated to suffer. To which we say . . . not “good-bye”, but “hooray!”
So . . . no good-byes at all in April. All that leaves for us to say is “hello” to Salsa. Let’s all join in and give the Salsa a warm welcome and a grand howdy-do by showing up for class and joining in on all the fun.
And for all of you who became hopelessly addicted to Tango in March’s Saturday Morning Technique class, and who are currently bracing yourselves against the imminently impending withdrawal symptoms, again we say “but wait! You can come to our Friday Fort Jones class this week (and every other week hereafter) and get even more steps under your belt (or wherever it is that you store your Tango steps). All pertinent information is listed below in the Fort Jones scheduling section.
The choice is, a longer drive that results in more Tango steps or imminently impending withdrawal symptoms. You decide.
See you there.
