Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – February 5th 2018

Dear All,

Good news:  The COS class in Yreka is a go! Minimum enrollment has been met, so the class is on.  There is still plenty of room for more to join, and those of you who wish to join now will have the added assurance of knowing that you will be joining a class that is definitely going to be held.  You can still pre-enroll (using the information currently listed at the bottom of this announcement) or you can come to class to sign up.  Join us yourselves to learn (or to review the basics) or enjoin your friends-who-have-never-danced to join and start learning to dance at the ground floor.  We look forward to seeing you there and/or meeting you for the first time.

Unfortunately, this class interferes with the Tuesday night beginning class at the Wellness Center (that was the only time slot COS had available), so we will have to cancel it until the COS classes are over.  We will be coming back when this class ends to teach more beginning level classes at the Wellness Center again.

Before the beginners among you begin to bemoan your (danceless) fates, consider joining the COS classes and learning the basic steps of 10 dances.  It will be good for any beginner (and also for any more advanced dancer who would like to review the basics).

In the meantime, the Wednesday night class will be available to beginners to join (this month Salsa).  Those of you who took Salsa last month on Tuesdays will be able to continue on to learn more steps, and those of you who want to start at the beginning will also be introduced to the basics.  Whether you join us at COS or attend on Wednesdays at the Wellness Center, beginners will have somewhere to go in February to learn how to dance.

The Thursday night classes at the Wellness Center will in no way be affected by these changes. Come join us.

Be Seeing You.
