Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – August 13th 2018
Dear All,
August just begun and half done already! I guess the old adage “well begun is half done” is true after all!
In these smoky times, keep in mind that the Wellness Center has filtered air-conditioning, which makes it a good place to get your exercise in. Things are better (at least today), but things are never so good that dancing won’t make them better.
And, just as a reminder: the College of the Siskiyou’s Ballroom Dance Class is still eagerly awaiting participants to sign up. This class commences in 2 weeks.
You can find it under the Fitness & Well-being category, information about which as follows:
Incorrectly titled “Class Survey” (it will be a single-dance dance class & that dance will be the beautiful Waltz)
7370 – XFW 0310-01, Tuesdays, 8/28/2018 -10/2/2018, 6:30pm -8:30 pm at the Yreka campus (2001 Campus Drive) in room 7. Join us.
For those of you awaiting the promised Swing class at the Wellness Center, if the Tuesday night COS class is a go, then the beginning Swing class will still happen, but will move to the Wednesday night slot (9/5) and will still remain beginning. So be sure to keep both days open just in case. (We will know by the 29th whether the COS class has enough enrollment or not & immediately pass the information on to you.)
Be seeing you (in class).
