Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – January 21st 2019
Dear All,
Congratulations to all of you who made dancing a New Year’s priority. I know that we are three weeks in, but we are still at the beginning, so thank you all for your efforts and your enthusiasm.
We promise you that if you keep it up you will be able to dance! The longer you train the better you will dance and the more dances you will have in your “vocabulary”, of course, which will make the fun quotient shoot through the roof (which means you will have a lot more of it). And as much fun as you are now having in class learning, triple . . . nay, quadruple it and you will have the tiniest notion of how much fun you will be having soon in the not-too-distant future.
Good news for those of you who had to miss the Foxtrot class last week, we only added two new steps (almost identical) so you haven’t missed much and will be able to slip right in when you come back this week.
And the Cha-cha class is only getting more & more fun by the week. Not too late to join that one, either.
Finally, the Viennese Waltz class is, by remaining basic, making the Viennese Waltz more accessible to all involved. So become one of those (involved) and develop yet more skills.
And one step past “finally”, we encourage those of you who would like a broader view of the dances to attend our Cos classes in February. We will spend six weeks learning the Foxtrot, Rumba, Tango & Cha-cha from the beginning levels. Those of you who took this class last year, we will be learning fewer dances, but more steps and a lot more review so that you will remember everything this time. Registration info just below.
Come join us!
Don’t forget our beginning series up in Yreka at the College of The Siskiyous!
It will be a great place for beginners to start, a great place for those of you who took last year’s class to review and learn new steps and a great place for the more advanced dancer to hone their skills.
Register on-line, in person at the campus or come to the first day of class and sign up there (where we will enroll you ourselves). Couples, singles, everyone is welcome.
