Ahh, October! The month of creepy movies on TV. This is our favorite TV time of the year. But, at this time of year it is also important to take extra measures to introduce a little non-creepiness into your life, just to keep a balance.
Enter ballroom dance. Ballroom dance is one of the least creepy activities (scary orange make-up not withstanding) in which one can engage. Take a break from the creeping creepiness of this month’s television programming and come learn some dance steps guaranteed to reduce any possibility of you introducing your own creepiness on the dance floor by (gasp) not being able to dance.
Both the Nightclub Two Step and the Foxtrot are easy dances (initially) and good entry-level dances with which to launch your dancing career! The Nightclub Two Step can be done to most of the songs one will encounter outside of the Ballroom milieu and there is more Foxtrot– rhythmed music than any other single ballroom dance, so with these to dances, you will have the chance to dance more than with any other two dances!
Such economy is not to be passed over lightly. Come to classes this week, then this month, then the many months that follow and your feet will kiss your feet . . . well, you know what we mean!
Come join us. You will thank us later.
