Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – June 12th 2023
Dear All,
No promises yet, but we may get access to the McCloud Dance Hall again for some of our venues (practice parties and classes). We are helping the new owner restore the floor and for our pains may have access to the space (in the absence of revenue-generating functions).
We will know more later (which, ideally, should be everyone’s path of development as we navigate this life of learning more each day) and will pass it on as soon as we do. Those of you who have never experienced dancing on the McCloud Dance Hall floor are in for a wonderful surprise and those who have done so are in for a wonderful déjà vu.
In the meantime, don’t forget that this month we are holding our Smooth dance (Quickstep) on Wednesdays and our Latin dance Salsa) on Thursdays. If you missed last week, we will be reviewing and carrying on . . . did I say “carrying on”? I meant “continuing on” (though no doubt there will be a little “carrying on” going on as well or we don’t know us (and I think we do {and so do you}!) . . . with more new steps so that no matter which venue at which this month’s dance party occurs, you will have plenty of steps to do and there will be more than plenty of fun to be had.
As always, we look forward to seeing you all in classes this week.
