Dear All,
Is it appropriate to wish you all a Happy Halloween, when one of the purposes of Halloween is to scare ourselves stiff or silly (or any other state into which one hopes to be scared)? So, enjoy Halloween in the manner you prefer (ranging from really over-doing it to ignoring it entirely) and then, by way of recovery (how does one “recover” from “ignoring it entirely”? Please put your answers in essay form), on All Hallow’s day (November the first) jump back into the regular world by coming to this month’s first Bolero class on Wednesday!
From spooky to suave, from “egads!” to elegant, from horror to high class. We can’t think of a smoother way to transition from the arcane to the civilized than developing the Bolero (unless, perhaps, it would be developing the Foxtrot, which you will be able to learn on Thursday nights).
We would say it is an ideal way to re-normalize your life, but life isn’t smooth and elegant like the Bolero and the Foxtrot are, so you will actually be elevating your lives and yourselves by taking these two dances (or at least one of these two dances) this month.
Join us and watch any residual clumsiness or awkwardness become a thing of the past (your past)! We promise you that, as you “elegant up”, you won’t regret it. Ever.
