Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – July 30th 2024
Dear All,
By consensus, it has been decided to steal this Thursday from August and give it to July by holding one last Tango class this week even though it would be August the first. (a move necessitated by the interference of July 4th by stealing the first Thursday at the beginning of the month) thereby giving us four Tango lessons this month instead of just three. And, as August is a five Thursday month, we will still get four lessons of Samba (August’s Thursday night dance {Foxtrot being the Wednesday night dance}) for a full complement of lessons. So: win-win.
After the avalanche of philosophy we unloaded on all of you during the last four weeks, we will mercifully keep this week’s newsletter short. I was going to tie it all together this week, but wiser heads (Peggy’s) prevailed and we will keep this strictly informative (huzzahs from the readers! It’s always nice to make a bunch of people happy. Probably one of the reasons we teach dance).
So, we told you about Thursday, we told you what the August dances will be, all that leaves is to tell you all to come to class.
Come to class.
So that’s out of the way now. Let’s wrap this puppy up (sounds like a dog treat: “For a happier dog, try Puppy-Ups today!”)!
Join us for one last week of Tango and Bolero. Then join us next week for a month of Foxtrot and Samba (dance-speak for Fun!). You won’t be sorry. And neither will we (to see you all there).
