Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – August 6th 2024
Dear All,
Now that August is well and truly in progress, we move on to the Foxtrot (Wednesday nights) and Samba (Thursday nights), our truly august nights of August dances. What we teach will, once again be decided upon who shows up.
Last month (July) we had mostly more advanced dancers attend and we were able to teach higher levels of steps (though, to be honest, our beginners who did attend were able to keep up admirably {as will anyone who attends} and had a great time with the more advanced steps) and a good time was had by all learning new steps we haven’t taught in quite a while (if ever) as well from the clarifications of the more complex steps we have taught recently..
Come join us one and all and let’s make August pan out just as successfully (or more so!) together. Foxtrot is one of the most elegant of dances and Samba is one of the most vigorous, so the whole range of Ballroom dancing will be embodied in this one month alone! Not to be missed!
