Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – August 13th 2024
Dear All,
Since August is the month that I send all of my funny-bones to the cleaners, I find that I am bereft of humor at this moment. I tried to get some “loaners” to replace them, but all they had in stock were some mildly-amusing bones with the occasional-sarcasm bone thrown in for extra measure (an extra measure of what I don’t know) and I decided to do without for the month. So, nothing but information this week (perhaps this month).
But the information itself is good: Foxtrot on Wednesday nights and Samba on Thursday nights. We got off to a great start last week and we will be reviewing that before moving on (so that if you missed last week, keeping up will be a breeze {and if there is one thing we can all use in the month of August, it’s breezes . . . the more of you who come, the more breezes there will be and the better off we will all be!}). And then, as promised, we will move on. Grand plans for the Foxtrot and fun plans for the Samba! Be a part of it all.
Simple but slightly different steps were taught each night last week so be sure and join us for an expansion of your vocabulary and positive development of your skill sets (iow {in other words} strengthening your dancing).
We look forward to seeing you there (yes, you too!, over there in the corner). Come dance with us.
