Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – July 10th, 2017

Dear All,

Peggy will be back any week, now, so you had all better come to class and work hard so you will “shine” when next she sees you.  I think you may have two, maybe three weeks at most.  Time’s a-wastin’, folks, so let’s get cracking!

On the other hand, if you do poorly when she comes back, she will realize how badly she has been needed and will knuckle down and start  “fixing” you all up. Which would be great for her, but perhaps not so good for you (in the short run . . . great in the long run).  Your choice.

Yet again the Parkinson’s class is postponed to a later week (until those Parkinson’s students stop gallivanting about the region, settle down and start coming to class again) and, again, if anyone wants to come to that class this week we will be happy to accommodate you.  All you have to do is ask and we will be there.

Finally, we get to start Rumba this week (the 4th bumped us out last week).  This is the slowest and easiest to learn of all the Latin dances, yet embodies most of the skills that are required for the more difficult dances, so this would be a good place to introduce dance to your as-yet-non-but-soon-to-be dancing friends to introduce them to the joys of partner dancing.  Or just come to really develop and strengthen your own dancing skills.

Looking forward to your attendance this week.

See you in class.

Saturday Mornings: July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
