Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – January 8th 2018
Dear All,
One week into 2018 and all is well. Classes are proceeding apace. We didn’t get to expound on the benefits of dance last week by way of encouraging you all to include dance as part of your fitness resolution, but as one of our own resolutions prohibits us from Excessive Expounding this year (not as racy as it sounds) we will do no more than to simply exhort you to not overlook Ballroom dance as a healthy part of any fitness resolutions you may make (especially since we made no such resolutions against Excessive Exhortations).
Do it for the fun of it, if for no other reason (but there are plenty -almost a plethora- of other reasons, believe us!).
We are doing something a little different for the Saturday class this year. We are spending two months on each dance (possibly three, if consensus commands). This will give those who come regularly a chance to really develop their skills more thoroughly, and those who don’t come regularly more of a chance to realize why they should come regularly.
Since everyone works at their own level each Saturday, anyone can still come on any day and still benefit greatly from the training, so please still feel free to show up whenever you want. Just remember: consistent effort produces ten-fold the results that sporadic effort produces, but sporadic effort produces 100-fold the results than no effort produces. Make the effort that makes you the most fulfilled.
Be Seeing you in class.
