Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – January 22nd 2018
Dear All,
You’re not going to let a little snow stop you, are you? Where’s that pioneer spirit that our ancestors used when they forged west? Where is the hardy can-do spirit that was at the core of their efforts to homestead and make a living in the wilderness? Where is the will-do spirit that brought them 20 miles into town by horse and wagon every Saturday night to the big barn dance?
I say it still lives within us. I say we can be every bit as hardy, every bit as intrepid, every bit as spirited as our ancestors. So, dig deep, find your own inner pioneer; then wade through 4 inches of snow, get in your cars and drive 5 miles to dance classes this week! We know you can do it and look forward to seeing who amongst you are the hardy, the intrepid and the spirited as you join us for yet another week of challenge and fun (to many, those two terms are synonymous) as you develop your skills step by step (so to speak), moving closer and closer to releasing the fine dancer that each of us holds within.
Be Seeing You in class.
And don’t forget, those of you who might be interested: sign up now for the series that we will be teaching in Yreka in February. Or just come to the first day of class and sign up then. Pertinent information:
