Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – February 19th 2018
Dear All,
Whoa! . . . Chocolate Tummy! By which I do NOT mean tummies smeared with chocolate, but rather tummies FULL of chocolate. Yes, another Valentine’s Day bites the dust (and with it so many well-intentioned diets) but not without leaving its yearly and seasonal mark on the general population.
If only there were a way to melt away the extra pounds without the drudgery of exercise or the abnegation of sustenance.
But wait! What about dancing (I heard someone say)! Why, your right! More fun than exercise, enjoyable enough to be able to actually replace meals, dancing makes absolute sense! You wouldn’t burn off the calories as fast as you would if you ran 20 miles every day, or fasted for three weeks, but you would burn them off (more quickly the more classes you take) and have a lot more fun than running 20 miles and fasting for three weeks will ever be!
So, what can we do to help? How can we come to the rescue in your hour of need? Well, we thought and pondered, considered and ruminated and this is what we have come up with: we will be holding special weight loss clinics (cleverly disguised as our regular dance classes so that no one need ever know that you are attending special weight loss clinics) throughout the rest of this year for your benefit. Your welcome.
Come join us and by this time next year you will find that chocolate no longer holds any threat for you whatsoever, and neither will the foodstuffs of any other holiday! Win-win! Burn off those calories AND be able to dance!
Be seeing you in classes.
