Ballroom Newsetter, Sisiyou County & Northern California – June 17th 2019
Dear All,
It is the last week of Spring which means it is the last week to do your Spring Cleaning by which we mean clean up your step knowledge, clean up your footwork, & clean up your lead/follow skills, etc. By the merest of coincidences, we provide the means to do all of that in each of our weekly classes.
Come to Bolero class and polish your Bolero steps. Come to the Tango class and make your Tango steps sizzle. Come to the Rumba/Cha-cha class and make both your Rumba and your Cha-cha shine! We know the secret tricks to learn faster and learn better and we are only too happy to impart that knowledge to you.
But there is a catch: you have to be in class to hear it (either that or just get Rick stated talking sometime – any time!). We will be imparting the secret knowledge whether you are there or not, so come join us and avail yourselves of the movement secrets of the ages.
And if you want to clean up your technique, there is no better place than the Saturday morning Technique class. That is where the deepest most far reaching secrets are imparted. Guaranteed to shave years off the training/learning process.
Also, we will be in Fort Jones this week, so if you are north county and don’t want to come south county, we will be imparting the secret knowledge there as well.
Finally, don’t forget why we are all doing all of this: to dance. “But where?” you ask. Why, in Lake Shastina at the Lake Shastina Clubhouse on June 28th 6:30 – 8:30 pm, we answer (details next newsletter). Come to classes to learn, then come and kick up your heels (and maybe your toes, too, while you’re at it) in an open dancing venue.
If you can’t make it to the classes, we will be conducting short mini-lessons through-out the evening at the dance party/practice party on the 28th. No secrets imparted, but some of the beginning steps of several of the dances so you will be able to still have a good time.
So join us, already!
Be seeing you all in classes.
