Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – July 29th 2019
Dear All,
Break out the champagne! Run up the flags! Whoop & Holler! This week is a two Bolero class week! By virtue of the fact that Wednesday is the last Bolero class in July and Thursday is the first Bolero class in August, you will all get to dance the Bolero twice in a row!
Aside from the sheer pleasure of dancing the Bolero twice as much as usual, this will also be very beneficial in that it will lock the new (and old) steps more firmly in your respective memories and give you more floor time perfecting each step. And to make the atmosphere even more festive, we will be handing out free hoorays! So come for the dancing, stay for the hoorays.
And while the champagne is flowing and the flags are flapping and the whooping & hollering is going full force, now will be a good time to let you all know that the COS classes are on for September! And if that weren’t reason enough for guzzling, flapping, whooping and hollering in itself, consider this:
The COS classes are now going to be held in Weed at the Weed Community Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm so we will not have to suspend our Tuesday night beginning class at the Wellness Center! A full schedule of dancing for all! We will be handing out a few extra loud free hoorays for that. But you have to come to class (any class) to get them.
We will have more information for you regarding the COS classes once the details are hammered out (which will happen just as soon as all the hoorays have been used up).
Join us for Waltz on Tuesday and for a bonanza-lallapalooza-rama of Bolero on Wednesday & Thursday!
See you all there.
