I know, I know! We told you a couple of weeks ago that we were going to teach Salsa and Quickstep in May and here we are, two weeks later, actually in May and suddenly we are teaching the Bolero and the Waltz. So, sue me (us). What changed (besides the dances themselves)?
Well, we were looking back in our records and realized that we had taught Quickstep more recently than we had taught the Waltz and that it was actually the Waltz’s turn, so: voila! The Waltz! And then we realized that this is a five Wednesday month, and we just couldn’t face an extra week of Salsa, so we slipped one of our favorites in for five glorious weeks of: Bolero! Not to mention that Waltz and Bolero are ideal dances to teach side by side as the Bolero is often described as a cross between the Waltz and the Rumba (which you have already only just recently learned). A fun time (and two superb dances) ensured for all!
And, even better news, we will be holding this year’s first Fourth Friday Dance Party (May 26th) this month up at the Lake Shastina Clubhouse! So: yay! A dance party! We will be giving more information (directions, address, times, etc . . .) the week of the dance party but be sure to reserve that Friday evening now!
And come to classes all month to ensure that you will have two more dances in which to shine! See you this week!
