Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – January 29th 2024
Dear All,
Yes, Kiddiewinkies, we will continue with Tango (Wednesday nights) and Salsa (Thursday nights) through the month of February, as we have been suggesting that we might. Might does not make right, but in this case, might makes will (as in will-do).
There are so many fun steps in Tango that we hope to more extensively broaden your vocabularies this month and give you more to do (as well as more fun to have). And a fair number of you have been stealing off to Salsa Clubs on weekends and we want to make sure that you get as many steps and moves as possible so you can have fun at these venues and shine whilst doing so.
Beginners are still welcome at the first classes of February as we will be exploring a different set of easier steps in each class, and our faithfuls will also get additional figures, so: win-win for everyone.
Oh, and our thanks to those of you who came to the practice party last Friday making it a success and our thanks to Victoria for hosting it and providing the venue. Everyone left having had a good time (and well-practiced to boot!). We plan to have these practice parties on the fourth Friday of each month (but keep your eye out for possible changes in date or venue. The newsletter will inform you as soon as we know of any changes).
We look forward to seeing you in classes this week so’s you can really have fun at the next dance party (and anywhere else the chance to dance arises not to mention the sheer fun of learning!). Please join us.
