End of the month, folks, and that means the end of a couple of dances (for a few months, anyway). Make sure you join us for the grand finales of two quintessentially Latin dances: Tango and Salsa (though technically Tango is classified with the Smooth Dances). Come join us for the wrap-up and learn the Tango’s famous (or infamous, depending on how you use it) Argentine Swivel on Wednesday! And learn how to spice up and ignite your Salsa in this Thursday’s Salsa class!
And speaking of Thursday, this week Thursday is Leap Day! The perfect day for cavorting and frolicking about! Make sure you are in dance class where cavorting and frolicking about are not only allowed, but encouraged! Then, when your great grandchildren ask “Where were you on Leap Day 2024 (and trust me, they will ask {and when you least expect it, too!}) you can say “Why, I was dancing, child, as you should be right now” and then show them how to really “cut a rug”! The time to start making memories like this is now, so come to class and get started!
By Friday (if you come to class Thursday) you will be able to say “Why, I remember this year’s Leap Day as if it were yesterday”. You won’t want to pass up an opportunity like that!
We look forward to seeing you all there, either day or both.
Next month: Samba (Wednesdays) and Waltz (Thursdays), the most vigorous and the most elegant of dances (respectively).
