Newsletter – Nov 20th 2012
Dear All,
Have a happy Thanksgiving. Because this is a family holiday and so many of you will be either travelling to visit family or receiving an incoming horde of relatives, we will not be holding any of the evening classes this week. That way you will have no reason to feel bad because you are missing class.
Until Saturday, that is. The morning technique class will be held as usual (see below), but the Saturday evening classes are going to be a little different this week. Instead of starting at 7:00 pm and running for one hour, we will be starting at 5:00 pm and running for two hours (until 7:00 pm). Then, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, there will be two hours of open dancing for fun and practice.
This is going to be a special Foxtrot workshop (Basic American style -which is the easiest dance to learn). See below for more information.
A big welcome to those of you from the Siskiyou County Airport flying club. We look forward to having you join us this Saturday in preparation for the series that we are starting up at the airport (in Nina’s Hanger). And of course, anyone who isn’t in the flying club are still welcome to join us for this series of classes. We will continue learning more Foxtrot steps and strengthening the style which makes it easier and more fun. The dates are December 1st, 15th, and 29th in Nina’s Hanger at the Siskiyou County Airport, just North (by Northeast) of Montague. Directions are available upon request.
In the meantime, see you on dance floor this Saturday.
