Ballroom Newsletter – August 13th 2013
Dear Dancer,
A much quieter weekend this weekend. As it is the third Saturday of the month, we will not be holding a Saturday evening class and dance session (though the morning Quickstep class will still be held). We will be back again the following (4th) Saturday as usual. We are still working on a Labor Day weekend dance, but no final information yet.
We are still holding some special sessions for Swing and Foxtrot (Quickstep currently being taught Saturday mornings) to help prepare people for the “Swing Into Autumn” concert/dance at the McCloud Dance Hall on Saturday, September 21st. We will be holding those later this month and through the first half of September. More info anon.
Once again, here is the link for information and tickets:http://www.siskiyoumediacouncil.org/support-us/1064-2/
Also, we feel that the information is important enough to keep repeating the link to the site which cites the health benefits of ballroom dance in combatting Alzheimer’s (which would make the site a cite site, I suppose). Again, the information is too important to not spread the word. Here is the link: http://socialdance.stanford.edu/syllabi/smarter.htm
If you are interested in any of the other health benefits of ballroom dance, please contact us by e-mail or phone and we will be glad to go over them with you.
Please come join us.
See you on the dance floor.
