Ballroom Newsletter – August 20th 2013

Dear Dancer,

We have managed to secure the beautiful McCloud Dance Hall in McCloud one more time, and this Saturday’s (8/24) evening classes and practice session which are usually held at the Dudes and Daisies will be held at the dance hall instead (the morning Technique class will still be held at the Dudes and Daisies, as usual).

Come to learn and/or improve the Swing dance skills that will allow you to dance up a storm at any random Swing Dance function that may occur in the near or distant future.

Speaking of which, there just happens to be such a function, formally being called” Swing Into Autumn” is definitely on for September 21st. It will feature live music by the Siskiyou Big Band orchestra, eats from local eateries and other features. For information regarding times, location and cost (and to procure tickets), follow this link:

http://www.siskiyoumediacouncil.org/support-us/1064-2/

We will also be offering Foxtrot classes soon (and don’t forget the Quickstep Technique classes on Saturday mornings this month) to bring you up to speed on the other dances that the Siskiyou Big Band will be playing that weekend.

Come get started this weekend with the Swing Dance class at the McCloud Dance Hall. Come to learn, stay to practice (or just dance). Oh, and feel free to have fun. We won’t stand in your way.

Please come join us.

See you on the dance floor.
