Ballroom Newsletter – December 31st 2013
Dear All,
Since it has been brought to our attention that 2/3rds of our “usual suspects” (regular attendees) are going to be out of town this New Year’s Eve, we have decided to postpone our New Year’s Eve Dance Party until 12/31/2014. We are getting this letter out a day early this week so that if there is a ground swell of outcry from those of you who had your hearts set on dancing-in the New Year, we could still have a chance to get it up and running for you. But, barring any such outcry, there is not going to be a New Year’s Eve party this Tuesday (tomorrow).
To make up for the fact that we have “postponed” the New Year’s Eve party and also because of the fact that last Saturday was a 5th Saturday (with no class or party), we will be holding an extra lesson and practice party this Saturday at the Dudes and Daisies Lodge in Mt. Shasta Park at the usual times (see below).
Also, we are pleased to announce that we now have an advert on the Siskiyou Media Council’s channels (YCTV 4 and MCTV 15).
Those of you who want a chance to see it can find it on YouTube using this link:
We are very pleased with the fine work Deborra Brannen and her staff did on this 30 second spot and look forward to seeing how effective it will be. Feel free to chime in and let us know what you think.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
See you on the dance floor.
