Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County – February 4th 2014

Dear Dancer,

Welcome to February, temporal home to Valentine’s day and a couple of presidents’ birthdays. And a good time to get going with that New Year’s Resolution to learn something new/exercise more/lose weight/socialize more often/take part in the cosmic dance/defeat the forces of primal chaos through the medium of structured dance/beat back the barbarian hordes (lead by Bob and Barb Aryan) by championing culture and refinement (as exhibited in the act of partner dancing) and the rest of the usual resolutions we have all been making since every Dec. 31st since time immemorial (or at least since the invention of the Gregorian calendar).

Half of our classes will be starting new dances (see below) which would be an ideal place to start, and the other half, though continuing, will also be a good place to start, since those classes are already multi-leveled with folks of all levels in each one.

And speaking of Valentine’s day (yeah, I did, way back there in the first sentence…)  we are once again presenting our Valentine’s Day Gift Certificates. Partner dancing is an ideal couples activity where you can progress together as a couple and share leisure time together developing skills that will make you both the envy of your peers.

So, gentlemen, if you want to see her light up like a. . . like a. . . like. . . hell, if you just want to see her light up, give her this gift of dance for Valentine’s Day. You won’t be sorry. (DISCLAIMER: Instructors not responsible for the resultant overwhelmingly amorous response or its consequences.)

Valentine’s Gift Certificates may be picked up in classes or call to make other arrangements.

Cheers.

See you on the dance floor.
