Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County – July 22nd 2014
Dear All,
Now that we are all done with our Summer workshops and our Youth Summer Camp, it is time to turn an eye to Autumn and our up and coming classes that we are offering at the College of The Siskiyous.
We are offering one that starts on August 18th in Yreka for the Yreka COS Campus at the Yreka YMCA (or “YY”… or “two Y’s”…not to be mistaken for “too wise” {as in YYURYYUBICURYY4me}) and runs on Monday nights for four weeks (8/18, 8/25, 9/8 & 9/15), from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The dances will be Foxtrot, Rumba, Tango and Cha-cha.
Then we will be doing the same thing at the Weed Campus starting Monday nights 10/6, 10/13, 10/20 & 10/27, also from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. And also Foxtrot, Rumba, Tango and Cha-cha.
These would be excellent classes for beginners (if you are a beginner or if you have friends who you think would benefit). You can find registration information on line or in any of the catalogs. You do have to be registered by a week before the class starts to ensure that the class will run.
Other than that, a normal week of dance classes with a dance practice session/party this Saturday.
Be Seeing You.
