Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – January 13th 2015

Dear All,

It is still not to late to join our Tuesday night beginning class. We heartily recommend it to those of you who have always wanted to get started but were not to sure where to start. The American style Foxtrot is the easiest of all the dances to learn, and as such, the best place to start.

Not wild about the Foxtrot? Just wait. We will get to a dance you want soon enough. By then you will have a stronger grasp of the principles and techniques and you will find yourself learning faster with greater understanding as well as remember the steps more readily.

The basic principles behind all of the steps of all the dances is the same, so by learning the Foxtrot, you will be developing your skills for any of the dances.

If you want something a little livelier, beginners are also welcome to the Wednesday night Salsa Class, though bear in mind this class will progress a little more quickly. Still, since we advance everyone at their own level, it will still be fun and you will still learn how to dance.

Finally, for those of you with a flair (or a yen) for elegance, the Thursday night Waltz class is getting into some lovely variations and those of you with some experience will be glad you attended.

Now is not the time to falter on your New Year’s resolution to learn how to dance or to improve your dancing or to simply stay in shape. Come join us for any of the above reasons or any other reason you can come up with.

See you there.
