Wed. March 11: Beginning/Intermediate Rumba – 6:45-7:45 pm
Thur. March 12: Intermediate/Advanced: – Foxtrot 6:45-7:45 pm
Fri. March 13: Ballroom for Parkinson’s – 12:15-1:15
You do not need to be a Wellness Center member to attend these classes.
Single class: $7.00/person.
Class Card (four classes or more): non-members: $20 for four classes ($5.00/class per person).
Wellness Center Members can get special discount: Buy a class card for $20.00 and get 8 classes (a value of $2.50 per class).

9:45 – 11:45 AM
This Month’s Dance: Quickstep
9:45 – 10:45 am – Technique Drills in International Standard & American Smooth Style Dances. Focusing on the elements that make partner dancing more fluid, dynamic, powerful and fun: Lowering, Rotation, Swing and Sway. Developing these basic movement skills will improve your performance in, not just this dance, but all of the dances by giving you more control over your balance, timing and power. And that’s just too much fun to miss out on. So give it a try.
10:45 – 11:45 am – Amalgamations. Putting the drills you worked on in the first hour to work in the actual steps as you develop more control over the steps, floorcraft and yourself.
Cost : $15 per person
$10 youth discount

PRIVATE LESSONS are AVAILABLE to anyone who would rather learn in a more personal environment (i.e. no witnesses) or to anyone who wants to progress faster or to anyone who simply wants private lessons. Also, if you cannot make it to any of the group class times, private lessons are arranged in accordance with your schedule and at your convenience. Contact us by e-mail or telephone (number can be found below).
GROUP PRIVATES & SPECIAL EVENTS are also available. If you can’t make it to our classes and you think you have a number of friends and acquaintances who would be interested and you can get together, let us know and we can come to you at times more convenient to you. Also, Weddings, Birthday Parties, Anniversaries are all great places to include Ballroom Dancing.
We are also available to lecture, demonstrate or perform at any event you would like to liven up.
