Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – November 17th 2015
Dear All,
This week is “as usual” but next week, being Thanksgiving, will be a little different. The most obvious difference is, obviously, no Thursday class (which means this Thursday will be the last chance for the International Foxtrot, so come take it).
While this Friday in Fort Jones we will be holding the regular class as usual, on Friday the 27th, since some of our regulars won’t be able to make it, we are going to, for that day only, hold a one day Salsa Class, so that those with family obligations to be away won’t miss out on whatever new Cha-cha steps we introduce.
So if you haven’t been taking the Cha-cha classes (or even if you have) and are interested in learning the basic Salsa steps, Friday the 27th is the day for you.
Then, for the Technique Class on Saturday the 28th, we have been asked if we could slip a Viennese Waltz class in and after consulting the stars, reading the omens, rolling the dice 7 times 7 and reading the entrails of a cat (coincidentally, the same cat that destroyed our last computer) we have decided that we can. And we will.
This is an “all levels” class, meaning we will teach each student at his or her own level, so if you have always wanted to learn Viennese, or if you want to perfect your fledgling skills or if you want to polish your mastery, come join us on the 28th for Viennese.
That means that this coming Saturday will be the last chance to develop/strengthen/master your standard Waltz skills. Come this Saturday, too. Be there or be 4/4.
See You There.
