Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County & Northern California – February 28th 2017

To view this entire newsletter, click on the title line above (the one that starts with “Ballroom Newsletter, Siskiyou County . . .)

Dear All,

Don’t forget that, since tonight is the last night of February (and the last night of beginning Samba) and tomorrow night is the first night of March (as well as the first night of intermediate Samba), Samba occurs two nights in a row this week (and this week only).

Also, since the Saturday Technique class was cancelled last week, we will hold one more session of Waltz so that we may accomplish all we originally intended.  That will leave us with only three weeks of Tango, but that should be enough to re-introduce it.  If you haven’t had Tango as a Technique class come give it a try.  It will strengthen your control of your movements in the other dances.

And we are happy to announce that the new Tuesday class will be Bolero.  The Bolero is a cross between Waltz and Rumba, both romantic and sensuous, flamboyant and intimate full of both stillness and grand movement.  We think you will all enjoy it immensely and heartily (yea, heartily) encourage you all to join us.

See you there.
